The plant has a columnar shape and a vertical growth habit. The leaf blade is broad, light green in shade, with a tender, heavily curled leaf texture. The variety is late-maturing; harvesting begins in September.

The variety possesses frost resistance and is suitable for cultivation in open field, with leaf flavor qualities improving after exposure to the first frosts. Leaves are suitable for fresh consumption, freezing, various types of culinary processing, and cultivation as microgreens.
