The Yurok F1 variety belongs to the Italian black kale (Tuscan) type. The period from planting to technical maturity is about 70 days, while harvesting of 'baby leaves' is possible after 50–65 days. The plant is characterized by an upright habit, reaching a height of 45–60 cm and a width of about 50 cm.
The leaves are dark green, heavily blistered, crispy, and tender in taste. The hybrid is distinguished by high uniformity and hardiness; the leaves remain on the plant for a long time without yellowing. The variety is intended for cultivation in home gardens and containers, and is suitable for fresh consumption and culinary processing.
