The plant forms medium-large, flat-round stem-tubers of an intense blue-violet color. The flesh is white, juicy, and tender; the fruits do not become coarse when reaching large sizes.
The variety is open-pollinated. It possesses high resistance to bolting and good cold hardiness, which allows for its use in early plantings in protected and open ground. It is suitable for cultivation using the seedling method and direct sowing into the soil for fresh consumption.
