The variety belongs to the traditional "White Vienna" group. It is an open-pollinated variety, not an F1 hybrid. In a number of genetic databases, it is found under the name Wiener hvid "Todon".

The variety is intended for fresh consumption. At technical maturity, it forms a whitish-green stem tuber.
