The root is conical in shape, 30–35 cm in length and 13–15 cm in diameter. The color is two-toned: the underground part is white, the above-ground part is light green, sometimes with a purple tint in the neck area. The flesh is firm, juicy, and white.

The plant possesses vigorous growth and good resistance to excessive moisture and low temperatures. About two-thirds of the root is located above the soil surface, which simplifies harvesting. The variety is primarily intended for use as livestock feed, including grazing and ensiling.
