The variety is grown as a second crop after harvesting early crops. The plant forms a rosette of light green hairy leaves with serrated edges.

The root crop has smooth skin of medium thickness and white flesh, with a pungent and slightly bitter taste. The variety is used both for human consumption and as animal feed.
