The period from sowing to maturity is 50–70 days. Root crops have an elongated cylindrical shape and a smooth white surface. A distinctive feature is the positioning of about one-third of the root crop above the soil surface.

The plant forms an abundant rosette of pinnately dissected light green leaves. Root crops are succulent, possessing a mild sweetish taste. The variety is cold-resistant and requires thinning when grown, with a recommended spacing between plants of 15 cm.

The variety is used for preparing salads, pickling, and heat treatment. Young tops are also consumed as a leafy vegetable.
