Variety description

The variety is an intermediate type of smooth brome selected from Manchurian accessions. The plant is characterized by moderate sod-forming ability, a tendency toward a bunch-type growth habit, and high leafiness.

It is distinguished by rapid regrowth after mowing or grazing, high seed germination energy, and disease resistance. The seeds have a dark purple hue, possess increased weight, and are easily threshed.

Suitable for use on well-drained soils, including in grass-legume mixtures. In some specific conditions, it can act as a host for certain nematode species and accumulate the alkaloid perloline under irrigation.
