The variety belongs to the southern types of Bromus inermis, adapted to the conditions of the central plains. It is a perennial rhizomatous grass with an erect growth habit, forming a dense stand, which makes it suitable for establishing pastures, hay production, and soil stabilization along waterways.
The plant is a cool-season crop, providing early spring regrowth and good fall regrowth under adequate moisture conditions. The variety possesses a marked adaptability to extreme temperatures and arid conditions.
The produce is valued for its high nutritional value and good palatability for livestock; however, forage quality decreases after the emergence of reproductive tillers.
