The variety is a perennial rhizomatous grass. The plant possesses abundant foliage on stems with medium to somewhat coarse leaf texture. Plant height in the spring period after vernalization is medium.

The variety is intended for use in hayfields, pastures, in the creation of grass mixtures, as well as for the grassing of slopes, sports fields, and recreational areas. The plant is adapted to growing on degraded, eroded, and dry soils, contributing to the improvement of their fertility.

The breeding program is focused on a crude protein content in the range of 12.74–14.66%. Dry matter yield is from 10 to 20.3 t/ha, seed yield is from 550 to 1000 kg/ha.
