Variety description

The plant forms a compact spreading bush 15–45 cm in height and up to 40–60 cm in diameter. The large dense leaves have a rough texture and a silvery-glaucous color with a contrasting vein pattern. Flowering occurs in spring, from April to June, with small cobalt-blue flowers in loose inflorescences.

The variety belongs to frost resistance zones 3–4. It prefers partial shade or shade and fertile, moderately moist soils. With insufficient watering in the sun, the leaves may be damaged. It is used in landscape design as a ground cover and ornamental foliage plant for decorating shaded areas.
