The variety is a mutation (sport) of the Jack Frost variety and is characterized by a compact, upright, and uniformly rounded bush shape. The plant has the ability to branch freely and is suitable for cultivation in containers and small gardens.

The leaves of the variety have a light green color with gray-green zones between the veins and are the smallest in their group. In spring, the plant produces bright blue flowers. The variety develops best in partial shade or shade conditions, although the foliage is capable of tolerating exposure to sunlight.
