Variety description

The plant forms a spreading dome-shaped bush 30 to 60 cm high and 40–50 cm wide. The main feature of the variety is the contrasting leaf coloration, which creates a "frost" effect. Flowering occurs in April–May with paniculate inflorescences of small bright blue flowers resembling forget-me-nots.

The variety is shade-tolerant and winter-hardy; it prefers moist, permeable, humus-rich soils. In terms of care, it requires regular watering; due to the superficial root system, loosening is not recommended. After flowering, pruning is desirable to maintain the shape of the bush and prevent self-seeding.

The plant is used in landscape design for decorating shaded areas, plantings under trees and shrubs, and also as a border or groundcover plant.
