Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is a sport of the Jack Frost variety. The plant forms a dense, compact clump 20–40 cm in height and 30–40 cm in diameter. The main decorative feature is large heart-shaped leaves, which become almost entirely silvery as they mature, with a narrow green margin and a minimal number of green veins.

Flowering occurs in April–May with small light-blue flowers gathered in loose panicle-corymbose inflorescences. The variety has winter hardiness (USDA zone 4 and higher). In conditions of excessive light or lack of moisture, leaf scorch is possible, and with excessive shading, the plant may lose its compactness and color intensity.
