Variety description

The plant is a bud mutation of the variety «Jack Frost». It forms a dense, hemispherical bush 20 to 50 cm in height. The leaves are large, basal, heart-shaped, with slight pubescence on the surface.

Flowers approximately 1 cm in diameter have a sky-blue hue with a white center and are collected in paniculate or racemose inflorescences. The flowering period occurs in April–May, sometimes extending into early June.

The variety is winter hardy, withstanding temperatures down to -29 °C (USDA zones 4–9). It prefers shady or semi-shady locations with moist, fertile, and well-drained soils. It is used in landscape design as a ground cover or container plant.
