The plant has a mound-like habit with a height of 36 to 41 cm and a width of 56 to 61 cm. The foliage is characterized by a silvery hue with a distinct pattern of dark veins.

Flowering occurs in April-May, provided a vernalization period has been met. The variety prefers shade or partial shade and moderately moist soil; USDA hardiness zones range from 4a to 9a.

The plant is distinguished by high resistance to deer browsing and a reduced tendency for summer foliage browning compared to similar varieties.
