The plant is a dwarf evergreen shrub with an upright crown shape. The height of a mature shrub is 31–45 cm, the width is 46–60 cm.
A distinctive feature of the variety is its bright yellow foliage. The flowering period occurs in August and September; the flowers are pink.
The variety was obtained from a seedling. In ornamental gardening, it is used for decorating heather gardens, rock gardens, borders, and for container cultivation.
