The plant is an evergreen low-growing shrub 25–40 cm in height and 30–45 cm in width with a dense, almost rounded crown and upward-pointing shoots. The foliage is small, scale-like, and dark green in color.

The flowers belong to the bud-flowering category, do not open fully, and form inflorescences up to 20 cm long. Flowering begins from the end of July – early September and continues until November. Due to the structure of the buds, the variety is resistant to rain, fog, and frosts down to -10°C.

The variety is winter-hardy, withstands temperature drops down to -23°C, possesses high resistance to diseases, and maintains its bush shape. It prefers acidic, light, well-drained soils, sunny locations or light partial shade, and does not tolerate waterlogging.

Used in landscape design for creating heather gardens, rockeries, and compositions with coniferous plants; it is also suitable for cultivation in containers and flower pots.
