The plant has dark green foliage and an upright shrub form. The flowers are characterized as double, having a pink-red shade.

The height of mature specimens varies within the range of 20 to 30 cm. The flowering period occurs between August and October, and in some cases may continue until December.

The variety is considered winter-hardy and is recommended for use in heather gardens or for cultivation in containers.
