The plant is a compact evergreen shrub with resilient upright or spreading stems, reaching 20–30 cm in height. Small triangular scale-like leaves are arranged oppositely and are dark green in color.
The flowers are numerous, in shades of pink, lilac, or crimson, gathered in spike-like inflorescences. Flowering is long-lasting, covering the period from the end of summer through November. The plant possesses high resistance to diseases and cold hardiness corresponding to USDA zones 5–6.
The variety is used in landscape design for creating heather gardens, container cultivation, or floral arrangements.
