The variety is mid-season, with a ripening period of 70 to 80 days. Bushy plants reach a height of 45–75 cm. Fruits are long, often curved, 12–14 cm long and 1.2–1.5 cm thick. During ripening, the color changes from glossy green to bright red.
The fruits have thicker walls compared to common cayenne pepper and are characterized by a moderate pungency of 15,000 to 50,000 Scoville Heat Units. This open-pollinated variety is suitable for fresh consumption, preparing sauces, as well as drying and grinding into powder.
