The variety is mid-early; the period from transplanting to technical maturity is 48–75 days, and to biological maturity is 110–150 days. Plant height varies from 40–50 cm to 90–100 cm depending on growing conditions, with taller plants possibly requiring staking.
Fruits are elongated-conical, trunk-like in shape, often curved or twisted, reaching 10–15 cm in length with a diameter of 1.5–2 cm. At technical maturity, they are dark green, turning bright red upon ripening. Pungency is 20 000–50 000 Scoville heat units, with thin flesh.
The plant possesses heat tolerance and adaptability to various conditions, including container cultivation; resistance to tobacco mosaic virus is also noted. Fruits are used fresh, for making sauces, for drying, and for preparing powder.
