The plant reaches a height of 70–90 cm. The fruits have an elongated, slightly curved shape, reach 15–20 cm in length, and possess thick, fleshy flesh and bright red skin at the full maturity stage. Descriptions of oblate or ribbed fruit shapes exist, sometimes with small corky patches on the surface.
The variety is sweet and possesses no pungency. Seed sowing is performed from February to May, and harvesting is carried out from July to October. The fruits are versatile in use: they are suitable for fresh consumption, roasting over charcoal or in an oven, as well as for traditional drying with subsequent grinding into paprika.
