The fruits have a rounded shape, are distinguished by a fine flesh texture and an easily removable internal skin. The plant is a deciduous tree with a wide crown, reaching a height of 15–25 meters. The fruit ripening period occurs in October.

The variety prefers deep, fertile, well-drained soils with slight acidity. It is self-incompatible and requires the presence of pollinator trees. It is susceptible to fungal diseases, including fruit brown rot caused by Gnomoniopsis smithogilvyi.
