The variety was developed based on interspecific hybridization of Chaenomeles ×superba and Chaenomeles ×californica. The plant is a compact bush about 1 meter in height with drooping thornless branches. Flowering is accompanied by the appearance of snow-white flowers.
Fruits ripen in September. They are distinguished by their large size, reaching 5–6 cm in diameter and a weight of over 100 g. The fruits are elongated in shape, resembling a lemon or a pear. The variety possesses high resistance to diseases and pests.
