The shrub is compact and densely branched, reaching a height of 0.8–1.2 m and a width of up to 1.5 m. The shoots are practically thornless or have very small spines. Leaves are dark green and glossy. Abundant flowering occurs in May with large orange or reddish-pink flowers.
The fruits are yellow, round or slightly elongated in shape, with an average weight of 40–70 g. Ripening occurs from the second half of September. The fruits have high acidity and contain a high amount of vitamin C, pectins, and phenolic compounds, making them suitable for processing.
The variety is precocious, beginning to bear fruit in the 2–3rd year, and produces a stable yield of 5–8 kg per shrub. It is characterized by high winter hardiness down to –30 °C, drought tolerance, resistance to major diseases and pests, and partial self-fertility.
