The variety is characterized by low height and a bushy growth habit. The plant is a rhizomatous perennial forming dense clumps 30–60 cm tall. Leaves are gray-green with a silvery-white border along the edge, maintaining decorative quality throughout the season. Flowering is late, occurring in October–November; inflorescences are small, yellow, and gathered in dense corymbs.
The plant prefers sunny locations and well-drained, moderately fertile soils, and is resistant to drought and wind. The Benetti variety is used as a pot culture and groundcover plant, responding well to shaping by pinching. It may be affected by powdery mildew, gray mold, white rust, aphids, and spider mites.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
