The variety belongs to the species Chrysanthemum pacificum, also known as Ajania pacifica or Dendranthema pacificum. The plant's appearance is characterized by rounded-lobed grey-green or olive leaves with a distinct silver-white margin along the edge.
The flowering period occurs in October–November. The inflorescences are small yellow heads without distinct ray florets. The plant exhibits resistance to drought and sea salt spray, and withstands temperature drops down to -15°C... -20°C.
The variety is used in decorative landscaping as a ground cover crop and is also suitable for container cultivation and for cutting. The plant is undemanding regarding soil composition.
