The variety «Zeemimosa» is an officially registered variety of the species Chrysanthemum pacificum Nakai (synonym Ajania pacifica Bremer & Humphries). In international classification, this crop is also known under the names Ajania, Gold and silver chrysanthemum, Iso-giko and Iso-giku. The variety is included in official guidelines for distinctness, uniformity and stability testing.

In UPOV technical guidelines, the variety «Zeemimosa» is used as a reference for comparing morphological traits. The main described characteristics include an obtuse leaf base shape and small stipules.
