The variety forms a compact conical head with a well-filled heart and succulent light-green leaves. The cycle to harvest is approximately 70 days. With spring sowing, the plant often forms a rosette of wavy leaves, while with summer sowing, it forms a full-fledged dense head.

The plant possesses vigorous development and is capable of withstanding light frosts. The leaves have a mild sweetish taste with a slight nutty bitterness. The variety is of French origin and is used primarily in fresh form for salad mixes.
