The variety belongs to the Escariol group, characterized by wide, smooth, entire leaves of a light-green, almost yellowish color. The plant forms a compact, head-like rosette. The taste of the leaves is piquant, with the bitterness characteristic of the crop.

The growing period is approximately 8–10 weeks; sowing in open field is recommended from mid-June to the end of July. The variety is hardy and capable of withstanding temperature drops down to -6 °C, however, it is prone to premature bolting under unfavorable conditions.

For cultivation, the optimal spacing is considered to be 30x30 cm or 40 cm between rows. To blanch the leaves and reduce the intensity of bitterness, it is recommended to tie the heads 1–2 weeks before harvesting.
