Variety description

The variety belongs to late vegetable crops and forms a rosette of leaves of a rosette to cup-shaped type, 20–30 cm in height. The leaves are large, fleshy, with smooth or slightly serrated edges and a well-filled, tender center of yellowish-green color.

The plant possesses resistance to cold, humidity, and light frosts, although it is not fully winter-hardy in open field conditions. The leaves have a characteristic bitter taste; to soften it, blanching is applied by restricting light access to the center of the rosette.

The variety is suitable for long-term storage using the root-heeling method. Agrotechnics include sowing in open field from June to July in sunny or semi-shaded areas with nutrient-rich soil; harvesting is carried out from September to November.
