The variety forms large, dense head-type rosettes with green leaves. The plant is characterized by high resistance to summer heat, drought, and adverse autumn weather conditions.

The produce has a characteristic bitter taste and good storage capability. The leaves are suitable for fresh consumption or after heat treatment; if necessary, the variety is suitable for heart blanching.
