The variety belongs to the curly endive (Frisée) group. The plant forms large, dense rosettes with deeply cut and densely curled leaves. The heart is dense and has a creamy-white or yellowish hue. The taste is characterized as fresh with nutty notes, while the outer green leaves possess a pronounced bitterness, which can be reduced by the blanching procedure.

The variety is fast-growing and intended for summer-autumn cultivation in the open field. It is resistant to heat and drought, and is also considered a reliable option for autumn harvesting. The produce is versatile: suitable for preparing salad mixes as well as for use in soups or stews.
