The variety belongs to industrial chicory types and is characterized by a high dry matter content in the roots. An important feature is the reduced amount of sesquiterpene lactones and chlorogenic acids, which cause the bitter taste of the product.
The plant possesses tolerance to sulfonylurea herbicides, which simplifies weed control technology. The variety is high-yielding, however, productivity indicators depend on the level of nitrogen nutrition and susceptibility to diseases, in particular Rhizoctonia.
