The variety is intended for industrial cultivation. Its economic value is determined by root yield, inulin content and output, and the speed of soil cover by leaves for weed suppression.

The variety undergoes annual agronomic evaluation, including resistance to bolting and pathogens, in particular to Cercospora leaf spot. Specific yield and resistance indicators are presented in summary annual tables in comparison with the standard.
