Variety description

The plant forms a compact rosette of dark green, crunchy leaves that have a slightly bitter taste. In the summer period, the leaves are often larger and elongated, and closer to the end of winter, the variety may form small, dense, almost spiral-shaped heads.

The variety adapts to various soil types, preferring fertile and well-drained areas. It is grown by direct sowing into the ground, with seedlings appearing in approximately 10 days at a temperature of about 8°C. Due to the risk of increased bitterness when overgrown, it is recommended to harvest the leaves before they reach their maximum size.
