The variety is a clonal progeny of the traditional Avana mandarin, obtained through nucellar selection to ensure virus-free planting material. The tree is characterized by slow growth, a compact crown with thin branches, and almost a complete absence of thorns. The variety is prone to alternate bearing.
Fruits are medium-sized, weighing 80–120 grams, with an oblate-spherical shape, thin bright orange peel, and juicy aromatic flesh divided into 10–12 segments. A key feature is the significantly reduced number of seeds, averaging about 3 per fruit. Ripening occurs in the period from late November to January.
