The tree of this variety is vigorous, possesses a dense spherical crown, small lanceolate leaves, and short internodes. Annual pruning of the plant is required to obtain fruits of optimal size.

Fruits ripen in the period from December to March and are capable of retaining their taste qualities on the tree for a long time. They have a small caliber, a flattened or rounded shape, a sweet taste, and a typical aroma. The variety is used as a table fruit and in cooking, as well as an ornamental plant.

The variety requires care similar to that of a lemon and needs protection from cold; therefore, in cold climate conditions, it is grown in greenhouses or protected cultivation.
