The tree has good vigor, features a spreading canopy with drooping branches, and is practically thornless. Characteristic swellings in the form of dormant buds may be observed on the trunk and main branches of mature trees.

The fruits are medium to large in size, weighing 95–105 g, have a slightly flattened shape and a bright orange thin rind. This is a mid-season variety, with the harvest period occurring from November to January.

The variety is parthenocarpic and self-incompatible. The fruits are relatively resistant to dropping, however, when overripe they are prone to rind puffing, and the variety can also be susceptible to pitting.
