The variety is a compact tree about 3 meters tall with lanceolate, bright green, aromatic leaves. The fruits are medium-sized, slightly flattened, with a thin, easily peelable yellow-orange skin. The flesh is juicy, sweet, and contains from 2 to 6 seeds.

The plant begins to bear fruit 2–3 years after grafting, reaching good yield after 4–5 years. The variety is characterized as late-maturing, ripening from February to March, and is capable of withstanding temperatures down to -8°C in protected cultivation conditions.

The fruits are used fresh, as well as in cooking for the preparation of jams, liqueurs, and pastries. Due to its aromatic properties and appearance, the tree is often grown as an ornamental plant.
