The tree reaches a height of about 2.7 m in open field and 60–90 cm in container cultivation. The canopy is broad, spherical, with curved branches and a small number of thorns. Leaves are relatively small and pointed. The variety shows cold tolerance, however it is sensitive to hot and dry climates.

Fruits are spherical or slightly flattened in shape, reaching a weight of 120–190 g. The rind is dark orange, smooth, thin, and easily separates from the flesh. The flesh is juicy and contains up to 19% sugars. The variety is prone to overcropping, which requires fruit load management to ensure quality ripening.
