The tree is vigorous, reaching 5 meters in open field conditions and 1.5–2 meters when grown in containers. The variety matures in autumn or early winter. The branches are prone to bending under the weight of the abundant harvest.

Fruits are large for this species (7–9 cm, up to 200 g), ranging from spherical to flattened in shape, and often have a short neck. The peel is of medium thickness and separates easily from the flesh. The flesh is tender, juicy, and sweet, with a small number of seeds.
