The variety is a natural hybrid originating from a seed of the Satsuma mandarin. The maturity group is mid-late, with the harvest period falling in January–April.

The fruits are large, flattened in shape with smooth skin. The peel separates easily from the flesh, and the fruits are firm. Due to self-incompatibility, the variety produces virtually no seeds.

The plant does not require specific pruning or complex agricultural techniques. The variety is compatible with various rootstocks, including Macrophylla, Volkameriana, Carrizo, and Cleopatra.
