ActiveCitrus reticulata Blanco · Mandarin orange
Timothy Williams
10 August 2026
The tree is moderately vigorous, with a compact or dense crown. A characteristic feature is the cup-shaped (concave) leaves. The variety is considered one of the most cold-tolerant among citrus fruits and shows increased resistance to Huanglongbing (HLB).
Fruits are medium to large in size, with a round or flattened shape without a neck. The thin orange rind adheres tightly to the flesh and is difficult to peel. The flesh is juicy, with a sweet-tart taste. The seed count varies from zero to 35 depending on pollination, as the variety is self-infertile and requires pollinators.

Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
