Trees are distinguished by an upright crown shape with long shoots and require regular pruning to control growth and manage alternate bearing. In the Northern Hemisphere, the harvest matures from January to April.

Fruits are medium-sized, spherical, slightly flattened, and possess a balanced sweet-sour flavor with a sugar level of 11–16% on the Brix scale. The variety is naturally low-seeded, however, cross-pollination with other citrus varieties results in the formation of seeds in the fruits.
