The Spadaforese plant is a hybrid of lemon and citron, possessing traits of both species. The fruits are characterized by a large size, a mass of more than 300 g, and a pronounced thick white layer under the peel (albedo), which has a pleasant taste.
The variety is remontant and capable of fruiting several times per season, with the yield of one tree reaching up to 100 kg. The fruits are traditionally consumed whole along with the peel, often as part of citrus salads or in sliced form.
