The group belongs to the Femminello family and is the result of centuries of traditional selection. The trees are medium-sized and suitable for cultivation in the open field and in containers. The variety possesses pronounced remontancy, ensuring fruiting cycles in different seasons under the names Primofiore, Bianchetto, and Verdello.

The fruits have an elliptical shape, a size of 7–9 cm, and a bright yellow peel of medium thickness. The pulp is characterized by juiciness, a strong aroma, and a high citric acid content in the range of 5.5–7%. Plants of this group are susceptible to the disease Mal secco.

The plant is used both for industrial processing and for fresh consumption, as well as an ornamental crop. There are nucellar clones obtained by tissue culture methods, which ensure the genetic purity and stability of the parent type's traits.
