The Laphitos variety is a cultivar of Citrus x limon and is traditionally grown in Cyprus. In the international citrus classification, it is officially included in the list of lemon varieties as an independent unit.

In specialized publications, the variety is mentioned as an object for comparative trials, in particular when evaluating flower morphology in comparison with Fino and Roxani varieties. Detailed agrotechnical characteristics of the tree and fruit are absent in open sources.
