The tree is vigorous, with a vertical growth habit and a dense canopy. The branches are strong, lignify quickly, and thorns are rare. Leaves are large, lanceolate, with rounded ends, wavy edges, and short petioles.

Fruits are large or medium-large, oblong-cylindrical in shape, often with a pronounced conical nipple. The skin is thin, smooth, and shiny, with a high content of essential oils. The flesh is greenish-yellow, juicy, with a crisp texture and few seeds.

The variety is the earliest of the Italian lemons, ripening in autumn. Regarding resistance to mal secco, it occupies an intermediate position between the 'Femminello' and 'Monachello' varieties. The plant tolerates temperature drops down to -6°C.
